Mor Patola Saree in Forest Green
Description
Patola — the double-ikat woven in Patan, Gujarat, where one weaver and his sons can spend thirty years on a single saree. Forest green ground, scarlet selvedge, peacocks (mor) walking the pallu in pairs. This is the saree you keep.
It is not woven for anyone in particular, and it is woven for you in particular. That is what double-ikat is for.
Comes with a contrast indigo-and-red printed blouse piece (unstitched), so you can tailor it to your fit.
